Problem description

FreeCAD is totally broken. Welcome screen and 3D view works fine, but no workbenches are.

It was working perfectly on the 4th of Febuary. I'm running the flatpak 1.1.0rc2 (which have not been updated since then).
I don't know what changed since last week.

Seems related to a python issue. And may be related to #27479

When I try to change workbench I get this:

Steps to reproduce

1. Open FreeCAD
2. The sidebar and other elements are missing. No workbenches work.

The sidebar should shows.

I've also the stable 1.0.1 release installed as flatpak.
I can switch from one to another using --branch option. see (wiki)

The stable release is not affected either by this problem

there's no way this would work with the above info i'm seeing in the original message. looking at the about info i see qt Qt 6.8.3. and in the logs i'm seeing pyside v6.10.1

you can not mix match minor versions of qt and pyside. ie. you can't use qt v6.8 and expect pyside v6.10 to work with it. thus why your getting the errors you are getting.
