New

  • D3D11 works with DXVK 2.x (feature level 11_1, tested with DXVK 2.3.1 and 2.4.1-gplasync). The driver was dropping the first piece of GPU work of every app; DXVK 2.x uploads its first vertex data there, so nothing was drawn.
  • New wrapper: FristOneRR-Wrapperv1, needed for DXVK 2.x on this driver (64-bit games only for now). It is installed by copying libvulkan_wrapper.so into the container at Z:\usr\lib\; see its README.
  • GPU memory sized for phones: 25 % of RAM (1–3 GB) instead of ~75 %, so Android is less likely to kill games. Override with PANVK_HEAP_MB.
  • Short version line in the DXVK 2.x HUD: FristOneRR 1.2.0 (Mesa 26.3.0-devel).

Also

  • README: new devices (Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G, Infinix Note 30 5G, Unisoc T820…), corrected results, BCn "none" advice, list of safe environment variables.
  • Credits: the 0x8055/panvk-g52-oppo-a38 repository belongs to BossDrk (wrongly credited to LukeValen in 1.1.0).

What's new in beta 1.1.0

  • DXVK 2.x and 3.x now work for D3D9 (tested 2.0 → 3.1.1) with the app's built-in Wrapper original. Don't use the leegao wrapper with DXVK 2.x+.
  • Mali-G52 on older kernels (e.g. Oppo A38, kbase r49): job-submit layout is now detected automatically.
  • Mali-G52 r1 is shown by name instead of "Mali unknown".
  • Lower RAM use: about 112 MB less per Vulkan device.

D3D10/11 still need DXVK 1.10.3 + leegao wrapper. See the README for the full compatibility table.

Source code is now public

Beta 1.0.0 was released without proper credits. That was my mistake, and I'm sorry. The source README now lists every project this driver builds on, with a script anyone can run to check where the code came from.

358c02c

First public beta of PanVK for Mali-G57 on the Arm kbase (JM) kernel driver.

Tested on POCO M6 Pro (Helio G99 / MT6789, Mali-G57 MC2), Android 16, Winlator + DXVK 1.x.

Highlights

  • Far Cry 3: loading hang fixed, cutscenes and gameplay working (~18-25 FPS on Low)
  • Fixed GPU hangs from shaders that use register spilling
  • Faster frame submission (vertex/tiler work overlaps with fragment work)

Install

  1. Download Panvk-Mali-G57-beta_1.0.0.zip
  2. Install the zip as a custom driver in Winlator
  3. Select the driver in your container's graphics settings

Known limits

  • Beta: expect bugs in some games
  • DXVK 2.x and newer: not tested yet (planned for next release)
  • Mali-G57 on kbase only
