Which file to download

The downloads are at the bottom of this page. Skip the source code zip. Skip files whose names end in .app.tar.gz; the app uses those to update itself.

Mac (Apple chip) is for most Macs from 2020 on. If yours is older, pick Mac (Intel). For a regular Windows PC, pick Windows. If yours is a Snapdragon PC, pick Windows (ARM).

Open the Mac file and drag Rebost into Applications. On Windows, run the installer. Microsoft may say it doesn't recognize the app yet. You can continue; Rebost is just new to them.

What's new

First run names Chat, a Shelf, and Recipes. Then it asks you to install the suggested AI.

Settings calls that section AI. The web setting is Online.
