NekoBeat 1.0.0

The first public release of NekoBeat.

NekoBeat is a multi-axis funscript video player for Windows. It reads funscripts exported by OpenFunScripter, converts multi-axis motion into TCode v0.3 commands in real time, and keeps the matching video in sync. It is built for the SR6 and OSR2 family, over USB or Bluetooth serial.

Playback and sync

• libmpv 2 playback with a Qt 6 / OpenGL front end
• Play, pause, stop, recentre and seek, with three seek-safety levels and an optional smoothing ramp for play and pause
• Full screen with an auto-hiding control bar and edge-triggered side panels
• Status bar phase-lag readout (Sync ±N ms) that shows when a stutter is holding the device back

Media library

• Cover grid with duration, axis badge, detail pane, search, filters and sorting
• Background scanning, cached thumbnails, and relinking for files that have moved
• Favourites across multiple collections

Loops

• A/B markers with a title, tags, collection and notes
• Double-click to loop a range, with a safety ramp back to the A point

Heatmap

• Stroke-by-stroke colour band that doubles as the progress bar
• Drag to scrub: the picture follows the pointer while the device stays still, then the device eases to the position you released at

Axis control

• Axis limits with importable and exportable profiles
• Per-axis calibration — minimum, maximum, home, inversion and script offset — with buttons that really drive the device
• Per-axis home behaviour, and a supported-axis handshake before any motion is sent

Device link

• Serial port, handshake, motion timer and TCode encoding all run off the GUI thread
• USB serial and Bluetooth serial (classic SPP)

NekoBeat-1.0.0-Source.zip	The complete source for this release. Needs Qt 6.9.3, MinGW 13.1 and CMake 3.24 or newer; run scripts\fetch_deps.ps1 first to fetch libmpv.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and a device that accepts TCode v0.3 over a serial port.

Notes

• The portable package contains Qt 6.9.3 and libmpv. Their licences and sources are listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt inside the package.
• NekoBeat is free software under GPL-3.0-or-later. Modified versions that are redistributed must stay open source.
• There is no telemetry and no network access; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
