Highlights

🔗 Clickable links in terminals

  • URLs printed in a terminal are underlined on hover, including ones that coding agents wrap across lines. ⌘-click opens a link in the app's browser tab, ⌘⇧-click in your default browser.
  • Explicit terminal hyperlinks (OSC 8) work the same way.

📎 Drag & drop files into terminals

  • Dropping files onto a terminal types their paths, like Terminal.app and iTerm2 do, so dragging a screenshot into Claude Code attaches it.
  • In SSH sessions the files are uploaded to the server first (to ~/.cache/agents-ui/drops, cleaned up after 7 days) and the remote paths are inserted.

🌐 Project preview URL

  • Give a project the address of its running app (e.g. its dev server) in Project settings, or with Set preview URL… in the project's right-click menu. An Open in Browser button then appears in the toolbar: click opens the app in the app's browser tab, ⇧-click in your default browser. If the preview is already open in a tab, it switches to that tab.
  • Agents can set it with the MCP create_project / update_project tools.
  • Browser tabs in the file viewer now survive switching projects and reopen at their last page (for the current app session).

🛰️ Reliable SSH file browser

  • The remote file tree and viewer no longer intermittently show nothing. Failures now show in the tree with a Retry button and retry automatically on reconnect.
  • Remote paths like ~ and ~/project are expanded on the server (they were misread as / and /project).
  • Unreadable or missing folders say "permission denied" / "folder not found" instead of looking empty.
  • Works with login shells that print output (e.g. a .bashrc echo) and with csh/tcsh login shells.
  • Recovers the shared SSH connection after sleep, network changes or a reconnect. Opening folders and files takes priority over background refreshes.
  • Sessions started as ssh -p <port> host or ssh host <command> browse the right server and port.
  • Clearer messages for SSH authentication and host-key problems.

Fixes

  • Uploads to SSH hosts (dragging files into the remote file tree) created wrongly named files when the name contained spaces or special characters.
  • Project settings opened from the sidebar for a project other than the active one saved the changes to the active project.
  • The MCP update_project tool returned the project's previous values instead of the updated ones.

Install (macOS, Apple Silicon)

  1. Download Agents.UI_0.12.0_aarch64.dmg below.
  2. Open the DMG and drag Agents UI into Applications.
  3. Launch it. The build is signed & notarized, so it opens normally with no extra steps.
