macOS — Apple Silicon

The macOS installer supports Apple Silicon Macs — MacBook Air/Pro and
other Macs with Apple M-series chips.

Download the …-arm64.dmg, drag Orbit into Applications, and open it.

Other macOS files — .zip, .blockmap, latest-mac.yml — are for
Orbit's updater, not for manual installation.

The macOS build is signed and notarized by Apple.

What is new in 0.1.105

  • Interrupted automatic updates retain the available version and offer a working Retry update action.
  • Copies opened outside Applications offer Move to Applications, with clear recovery if the move cannot finish.
  • Manual update actions open the correct version's installer directly, and explain when manual installation is required.
  • Task titles stay clear of live status and account controls in compact windows.
  • Shared screens use accurate wording on both Mac and Windows.

This installer is unsigned; Windows may show an Unknown Publisher or SmartScreen warning. Orbit checks for newer versions and links to the official download page. This beta uses manual updates.
