Antigravity Conversation Fix v1.05
Antigravity Conversation Fix v1.05
🆕 Antigravity IDE Compatibility
Automatically detects both the old folder name (Antigravity) and the renamed folder (Antigravity IDE) on all platforms. No manual path changes needed — the tool finds whichever version you have installed.
🆕 Smarter Workspace Matching
Uses Antigravity's own workspaceStorage data to accurately match conversations to their workspaces, instead of relying solely on path-depth guessing. Falls back to the old heuristic if no workspace data is found.
🔧 Title Fix
Conversation titles now correctly preserve the canonical titles from your database. Brain artifact headings are only used for conversations that have no existing title — no more mismatched names.
What it fixes
❌ Conversations disappeared from the sidebar
❌ Conversations in wrong order (not sorted by date)
❌ Placeholder titles instead of real names
❌ Workspace assignments stripped on rebuild
❌ Lost workspace assignments from v1.0 — auto-recovered
❌ Missing timestamps causing wrong sort order
❌ Remote workspaces (WSL/SSH/Docker) not recognized
❌ NEW: "Antigravity IDE" renamed folder not detected
❌ NEW: Workspace matching fails on deep/non-standard paths
❌ NEW: Titles overwritten with brain artifact names instead of real titles
How to use
- Close Antigravity completely (File → Exit or kill from Task Manager)
- Download and double-click Antigravity_Conversation_Fix.exe
- When prompted for workspace assignment, choose an option:
- Press Enter or 1 — auto-assigns workspaces from your brain files (recommended)
- Press 2 — auto-assigns first, then lets you manually assign any remaining conversations
- Reboot your PC (full restart)
- Open Antigravity — your conversations should be back, sorted newest first
Notes
• No Python or developer tools needed — just download and run
• Automatically backs up your current index before making changes

• Remote workspace users can paste vscode-remote:// URIs directly when assigning manually
• Works with both old (Antigravity) and new (Antigravity IDE) folder names
• Safe to run multiple times
• Windows only (Mac/Linux users: run the Python script from the repo)
