v0.4.4

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 06 Oct 12:05

Core 0.4.4 adds native generic pipelines, multimodal CPU training with ragged modalities and target masks, portable native model replay, and SDK workspace/session bridges. Browser native pipelines support the documented dense numeric profiles, CPU/browser state and calibration exchange, and fit-free replay.

Dependencies: DAG 0.3.39, IO 0.2.6 and Methods 1.3.4. Public Python, npm, Rust, MATLAB/Octave and source distributions were checked against reviewed commit c3b353f904f1260e4b3cf0cbefaea6d12305dc30. Eight native Python oracles, public npm Chromium replay, and Node/Octave CPU and workspace checks passed. The CLI used for local qualification was built from the public Rust source archive; this release does not ship a precompiled CLI binary.

See docs/native_pipeline_contract.md, docs/native_multimodal_contract.md, docs/BROWSER_native_pipeline_contract.md and docs/workspace-session-bridge.md for supported profiles and limits. Licensed MATLAB and Windows ARM64 qualification, and multimodal SHAP, remain deferred.

nirs4all Core 0.4.3 — MATLAB/Octave runtime fixes

@github-actions github-actions released this 06 Oct 00:39

MATLAB/Octave native workflow results now retain the executable and absolute archive paths through prediction, tuning resume, retraining, calibration and reload. Typed datasets and multimodal predictors honor the configured runtime; relative executable paths are resolved before persistence. Exports reuse the original runtime and publish exclusively through Core.

The MATLAB/Octave ZIP now includes its tests and frozen parity fixtures, works after extraction outside the repository, and is rebuilt without retaining obsolete ZIP members. Source archives remain reproducible for a fixed commit. Core distribution versions are synchronized at 0.4.3; native numerical and graph implementations remain upstream.

Qualified dependency cohort: DAG-ML 0.3.37, DAG-ML-Data 0.2.13, IO 0.2.5, Formats 0.2.11 and n4m 1.3.2.

Validation: Rust formatting/clippy and workspace tests; Python binding tests (150 tests, 9 optional skips); WASM build, 102 JS tests (86 passed, 16 optional skips) and TypeScript checking; strict Octave parity against the frozen full Python oracle; native CV/OOF/refit, tuning/resume, conformal calibration, robustness, results and multimodal replay; installed-ZIP smoke/parity/runtime/multimodal tests. The release workflow additionally gates the MATLAB/Octave asset on strict parity and native workflow tests.

The same source package serves MATLAB and Octave. Execution was qualified with Octave 10.3; licensed MATLAB was not available and is not claimed as tested. Historical internal graph snapshots and unsupported process profiles are outside this qualification.

@GBeurier GBeurier released this 05 Sep 14:08

Windows archive durability corrective release.\n\nCore now opens parent directories with the Windows directory-handle semantics required by FlushFileBuffers, preserving atomic Archive V1/V2 publication and fail-closed cleanup guarantees. V3 inherits the corrected V2 writer. All Rust, Python, npm, R, MATLAB/Octave, strict-parity and real-Windows gates passed.
