GEOSradiation_GridComp v2.1.0 updates the shortwave ozone interface, refactors the longwave radiation component for easier maintenance, and refreshes CI coverage.
This is non-zero-diff to v2.0.0
Radiation interface changes
- Use ozone directly in shortwave radiation. SOLAR now imports ozone mass mixing ratio (O3, kg kg-1) instead of odd-oxygen volume mixing ratio (OX, mol mol-1). This removes the internal pressure-dependent odd-oxygen-to-ozone conversion and molecular-weight scaling. (#105)
- Integration note: The ozone interface update should be taken together with the companion GEOS component changes listed in #105. Components supplying SOLAR’s imports must provide O3 in mass-mixing-ratio units.
Longwave code maintenance
- Move static IRRAD import, export, and internal state specifications into Irrad_StateSpecs.rc, with headers generated by MAPL’s Automatic Code Generation (ACG). Runtime-dependent specifications remain in SetServices. (#100)
- Extract RRTMGP longwave gas, cloud, aerosol, and radiative-transfer helpers, the block-processing routine, and provider aerosol-optics calculations into module-level subroutines. (#101)
- Standardize IRRAD indentation and return-code macro usage. This formatting cleanup introduces no functional changes. (#99)
