Welcome to the GENEC wiki!

In addition to the manuals that you can find in the documentation folder, e.g. GENEC main manual, we provide here more information about GENEC.

The first step to run GENEC or any software is to choose and be familiar with an operation system (OS). More information on this here.

Next you need to install pre-requisite software like a fortran compiler and Python. You can install them when needed as you follow the manual.

Once you have compiled genec, you are ready to run your first model. More on this in this page: https://github.com/GESEG/GENEC/wiki/Starting-your-first-GENEC-model.

After you have run a model, create a "wg" file using the catag.py script in GENEC/tools/ . After that you can use the GENEC toolbox to plot and analyse your models.
