Filament Swapping

  1. When you are on the 3d printer Fluidd page, if you know there is PLA loaded up in the nozzle you can just hit Macros then Unload Filament
  2. If its anything other than PLA such as PTG, ASA, ABS, etc, then you want to hit the drop-down on unload filament and you'll an "S" field and a T-field. Set the S field to temperature 10 degrees below the usual extrusion temperature of the material that is in the nozzle. For example, if PETG, you can set "S" to be 230 and then hit send
  3. If filament is jammed, you can try extruding until you see filament coming out of the nozzle and then retracting, afterwards you can pull the filament out
  4. When adding your new filament, you have to set the extrude temperature to the required amount of your filament, push the filament into the nozzle carefully, then press load filament until you feel the 3d-printer pulling on it.
