0.3.2 - pending delegators and version fix
⚠️ Beta software, no warranty. PoolTerminal is early software and has mainly been exercised on one operator's setup. It is read-only by design and holds no key material, but it does hold SSH access to your block producer, and that limit is not a guarantee. It has had an AI-assisted code review, not an independent security audit. Provided as-is under Apache 2.0 with no warranty of any kind - you use it at your own risk. See SECURITY.md.
New delegators are visible before their stake goes active
Until now a delegator who joined the pool was invisible in PoolTerminal
until the epoch boundary, when their stake entered the active snapshot.
On a pool that sees a handful of joiners a month, that meant the one
thing you most want to see was the one thing you could not.
Pending delegators now appear in the list from the moment they delegate:
dulled, tagged with the epoch their stake activates, and deliberately
excluded from pool totals, the delegator count and the top-delegator
slot, since none of that has happened yet. The count card shows
"+N joining" as a link that takes you straight to them.
Their loyalty bar shows a dashed gold outline sized to their stake
weight. That is the ceiling the bar will grow toward, not a score —
tenure only starts accruing once the stake is active, so a solid segment
would claim something that has not been earned.
Also fixed
A pending delegator's stake could be shown far too high. One 200,102
ADA joiner displayed as 12,010,647 ADA. The query summed transaction
outputs filtered only on consumed_by_tx_id, which db-sync populates
sparsely, so long-spent outputs were counted as unspent and the figure
was closer to lifetime ADA received than to current balance. It now uses
a proper UTxO anti-join. Active delegators were never affected, as their
figures come from the ledger's own snapshot.
The version shown in the app was wrong. The header, About view and
setup wizard each carried their own hardcoded string, and the wizard's
had read 0.1.0 since three releases ago. All three now read the version
from the packaged binary, so they cannot drift again.
Sorting now repositions pending rows. They sort inline by stake, and
group at the end when sorting by loyalty, since a pending delegator has
no score to compare against.
Stake in the delegator list is shown in whole ADA. Small balances
were previously printed as raw floats and large ones abbreviated.
The setup wizard can be closed when opened from Settings on a working
install, by button or Escape. Cancelling discards everything and leaves
your configuration untouched. First-run and the Change Node flow have no
close control by design, since cancelling there would leave the app
unusable.
