Companion for WoW Classic Era / Hardcore, in English and German.

What's fixed

• Linux desktop icon and start menu: creates a user launcher with the correct app identity and icon. Moving or renaming the AppImage refreshes its launcher on the next direct start.
• System tray: Open and Quit controls. Closing the window keeps the app running in the tray; Quit app exits completely. If tray creation fails, closing still exits.
• Clear export discovery: groups characters by WoW installation, with client edition, installation path, character, realm and an expandable full file path. Missing snapshots, unreadable files, unsupported exports and duplicate character IDs have separate messages. These paths remain local.
• Upload interval: select 5–60 minutes in 5-minute steps; default 15 minutes. The preference is saved. Uploads remain opt-in and manual upload is still available.
• Versioned AppImage updates: after a signed in-app update, the app renames its AppImage to include the new version and refreshes its launcher before restart. Existing destination files are never overwritten. This behavior applies to updates initiated by 0.1.1 or newer; the old 0.1.0 updater retains its filename.
• Enabled start-at-login entries are refreshed on startup to follow a moved AppImage.

Fedora installation, from your download folder:

Linux targets are Fedora 43/44, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or newer, and Debian 12 or newer. This is a compatibility target, not a claim that each distribution has received complete acceptance testing. RPM/DEB system updates may request administrator authorization. AppImage version renaming requires a filesystem supporting hard links; if renaming fails, the updated file remains at its original path.

Windows and macOS installers are not Authenticode-signed or Apple-notarized. Cryptographic updater signatures are separate.

RPM, DEB and AppImage support signed automatic updates. System-installed RPM/DEB updates may request administrator authorization. Windows may install Microsoft's WebView2 runtime if it is absent.

Start contributing

Install GabbaProcTracker 0.1.1, play, then /reload or log out to save a fresh export. Get a pilot invitation from the operator at gabbaproc.kellerkind.info, exchange it for an upload token on the website, and select characters in the app. Uploads are off until you enable them.

All platform builds and update signatures were checked. The Linux AppImage received a local launch smoke test. Fedora RPM signatures and dependency resolution were checked; an installed RPM launch remains untested; Windows/macOS real-device checks and a complete version-to-version upgrade still need acceptance testing. These initial installers are not Apple-notarized or Microsoft Authenticode-signed; updater signatures are separate.
