A vault may be constructed to track and format multiple notes.
Notes may be viewed standalone, or composite notes may be created which
include many other notes.
Formatters can access metadata defined within a note and know whether
the current note is the one being compiled or not (root vs. branch).
Notes may link to each other by metadata. These links automatically
resolve to a pdf file path or an in document link.
