After carefully reading the RP2040 errata concerning the UF2 file caveats ( see: #9 ) I have finally got sparse UF2 files working for both RP2040 and RP2350.

These shave off some filesize (and flash time) by skipping the zero fill of bytes between the end of the firmware and the start of the filesystem. These address ranges are, instead, discarded.

Additionally the firmware is padded up to the nearest RP2040 flash erase block, avoiding issues with Errata RP2040-E14.

To skip zero fill you must specify the --sparse argument.

This version will also check for existing filesystems in the target UF2 and refuse to overwrite them. Previously it would just produce potentially corrupt builds. If you specify --fs-overwrite the existing FS will be discarded and replaced.
