Directional Reset Governance

  • Preserve PatchShape, CanonicalOwner, UpwardDrillSignal, the decision, the latest outcome, and one bounded evidence reference after a locally green repair slice.
  • Require verification-driven unplanned repairs to read retained direction state before editing and compare invariant, owner or contract seam, patch shape, and causal topology.
  • Treat renamed carriers as the same repair direction when their semantic direction converges.
  • Reuse existing checkpoint prose and evidence-reference surfaces without adding a new artifact, schema field, workflow owner, or runtime authority.

Workflow And Stability Safeguards

  • Keep systematic-debugging as the sole owner of repair-direction judgment.
  • Keep executing-plans responsible for pre-edit routing and long-task-continuation responsible for bounded state carriage across slices.
  • Preserve the normal quick path for proven independent canonical-owner bugs.
  • Add context-growth budgets and stateful regression coverage for local-green directional resets.
  • Extend the Codex smoke transcript parser for constrained PowerShell path-array plus foreach skill reads while rejecting unrelated variable reads.

Compatibility

  • No new skill, artifact schema, workspace-helper lifecycle, router branch, host distribution surface, authoritative GateDecision, authoritative PolicySnapshot, or completion authority.
  • The using-aegis hot path and skill descriptions remain unchanged.
  • All declared package and host manifest versions are synchronized at 2.4.7.

Verification

  • Passed bash tests/e2e/run-all.sh --full --host-profile fast on the feature branch and again after the fast-forward merge to main.
  • Layer 1 passed 39/39, including representative Codex automatic and explicit skill-triggering smoke, OpenCode base coverage, and Codex plugin-sync regression.
  • Layer 2 behavior and Layer 3 scenarios each passed 6/6; the governance completion contract passed.
  • Passed version check/audit, parser regression tests, context-budget checks, boundary compliance, and git diff --check.
