Installation

How to install NewSafetyHelp:

1. Download MelonLoader (Automated Installer) from the official MelonLoader website: MelonLoader Download
   Alternative Download Page: MelonLoader Releases

2. Run MelonLoader and select Home Safety Hotline as the game. You can choose any version, though preferably the latest.

3. Move NewSafetyHelp.dll (From Releases) to the new Mods folder in your Games Directory. You can find the game's Mod folder by pressing the folder icon, MelonLoader. (Alternatively: Right mouse click the game in Steam → Select Manage → Select Browse Local Files)

4. Start your game and enjoy.

How to install (Usermod) custom entries and custom campaigns:

1. Install the base mod "New Safety Help". Make sure you have installed and run it at least once with it installed.

2. Download the ZIP file containing the usermod.

3. Open up the UserData folder inside the game's directory ( This can be found by pressing the folder symbol while having Home Safety Hotline selected in your MelonLoader installer. Or: Right mouse click the game in Steam with → Manage → Browse Local Files )

4. Inside the UserData Folder, open up the NewSafetyHelp folder (If it doesn't exist yet, start the game once). Here you can unzip the ZIP file. This should create a new folder, where all the custom content is located at.
