gentle-pi v3.1.0 packages the Gentle AI v3.0.1 runtime. Gentle AI v3.0.0 was cut from the /v2 Go module and could not be installed through go install, which is the only Windows path, so gentle-pi 3.0.0 kept packaging v2.9.1. Gentle AI v3.0.1 moved the module to github.com/gentleman-programming/gentle-ai/v3; this release pins that runtime on every platform, including the Windows source build, and brings the Gentle AI v3 line (Organic Driven Development as the default protocol, unified feature continuity with configured TDD, simplified SDD) to Pi users. Everything shipped in gentle-pi 3.0.0 is unchanged.

What's new

Gentle AI v3.0.1 runtime on every platform

The package-local runtime moves from v2.9.1 to v3.0.1. Darwin and Linux install the signed, SHA-256-pinned release archives; Windows builds from source with go install against the /v3 module, verified against the Go checksum database entry for the v3.0.1 tag. NATIVE_CLI_CONTRACTS gains rows for 3.0.0 and 3.0.1; both repeat 2.9.1 because the review-integration and provider contracts did not change a byte between those tags.

Included work: #1118 (issue #1116), on top of gentle-ai #4683.

Breaking changes

None. The pin bump is additive; the Pi-facing contract lane is unchanged.

Upgrade now

pi install npm:gentle-pi@3.1.0

Restart Pi, then run:

gentle-ai sync

The package postinstall reinstalls the package-local Gentle AI runtime at v3.0.1; run gentle-ai sync afterwards so managed agent and reviewer assets match it.

What was fixed

Nothing beyond the runtime pin. The Windows source-install constants that still named the /v2 module are part of the pin change above.
