Overview
This release provides the benchmark datasets for DES v2.0. It is intended for peer review to reproduce the computational and physical modeling results reported in the associated paper.

The benchmarks are categorized into three independent sets. Each subdirectory contains a dedicated README.md providing instructions for reproducing the specific results.
performance/: Compute benchmarks for CPU/GPU throughput (8 mesh sizes) and CPU core-scaling.coupling/: Contains surface-process coupling datasets, featuring a two-way coupled DynEarthSol–GoSPL 3-D rifting model.rsf/: Contains rate-and-state friction benchmarks, including 2-D RSF example cases and a comprehensive simple-shear benchmark suite.
