v2.6.2
馃挸 Gero Card - Re-launch
The Gero Card is back with a completely redesigned experience.
- New step-by-step card ordering flow - pick your card type, enter your shipping address, complete KYC, and pay with ADA, all in one guided process
- Physical card shipping now supported worldwide
- Better KYC status tracking - you can now see exactly where your application stands (verified, pending, or rejected) with clearer messaging at each stage
- Rejected card applications now show a helpful message explaining next steps
- Payment-in-progress state is now shown clearly so you're never left wondering if your order went through
- ADA/EUR conversion rate shown on each top-up entry in the Gero Card transactions table
- Export your Gero Card transaction history to CSV - with date range filtering, so you can pull just the period you need
- Updated card images across the wallet
- A user can no longer accidentally order duplicate cards - the app now enforces a card limit per account
- Card position alignment fixed
- Fixed: deleting a wallet no longer keeps you logged into Gero Card
- Fixed: locking a wallet now correctly signs you out of Gero Card
- Fixed: PassKey autofill was failing on the Gero Card management page
馃攽 PassKey Authentication
Your wallet's security just got a major upgrade. Instead of a password that could be guessed or stolen, your private keys are now protected by your device's built-in security chip - the same hardware that powers Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, and similar features.
- Your fingerprint or face unlocks your wallet - even if someone stole your computer, they couldn't access your funds without your biometric
- Registration now happens in a single step (previously asked you to confirm twice)
- New onboarding screens walk you through what PassKey is and why it's more secure, during wallet creation and restoration
- Wallet creation simplified to two screens instead of four
馃敀 Auto-Lock & PIN/Pattern Security
Your wallet can now lock itself automatically after a period of inactivity, just like your phone does.
- Set a PIN or draw a pattern to lock and unlock the wallet
- Each wallet has its own lock settings - useful if you manage multiple wallets
- Works alongside PassKey: PassKey protects your keys, PIN/pattern locks the screen
- Fixed: switching between 4-digit and 6-digit PIN now keeps focus on the input field
馃攼 Trezor & Keystone Hardware Wallet Support
- Trezor is now fully supported - connect your Trezor device to sign transactions, stake, and manage your wallet without your private keys ever touching the internet
- Keystone is now fully supported - Keystone uses QR codes instead of a cable, keeping your keys completely air-gapped
馃拵 Ledger Improvements
- Fixed a sending issue that prevented some Ledger transactions from going through
- The Bluetooth toggle is now hidden on devices that don't support Bluetooth - no more confusing options that don't apply to you
馃嚛馃嚜 German Language
- Full German translation added across the entire app
- All missing strings filled in for complete parity with English
馃洝 Duplicate Wallet Detection
- If you try to restore a wallet using a recovery phrase that's already in Gero, the app will detect it and log you into the existing wallet instead of creating a copy
馃敡 Fixes & Improvements
- Recovery phrase entry screen is now 4 columns instead of 3 - easier to read and fill in
- Fiat value (USD/EUR) now shown alongside ADA in the send flow, so you know the dollar value before confirming
