CastFi v0.10.4 _ Update
CastFi v0.10.4

고친 것 (v0.10.4)
새로 생긴 것 (v0.10.4)

Fixed (v0.10.4)
Send to network device — streaming app audio
- Distorted sound. A fixed 10 dB boost was always added to the audio we send, so loud tracks went past full scale
and were clipped (measured: about 29% of samples clipped). The boost is gone and the app's own level is sent as-is.
The first send may sound a little quieter than before; that is the real level — adjust it with the network device's
volume. - Occasional dropouts. On some PCs the dedicated capture process started slowly, so capture fell back to running
inside the main app, and audio dropped briefly whenever the app got busy. CastFi now waits long enough for the
dedicated process, and the window no longer freezes while it waits.
New (v0.10.4)
Settings › Network play › App capture device
- Choose how the PC is silenced when "Mute this app on the PC and send to the network device only" is on.
- Pick a device: the streaming app is sent to that device (a virtual cable or an output you don't use) and the
device is muted while sending. The audio goes out at its original level, with no lowering and boosting — the same
method as the app output device for DSD upsampling and FIR EQ. When sending stops, the app returns to the device you
were listening on and the mute is released. - Auto (default): as before, the app volume is lowered and compensated in the stream. Nothing to set up.
- A virtual cable needs a one-time "dead-end cable / outputs elsewhere" choice, the same one DSD upsampling uses;
both features share it. The default output you are listening on and the DSD output DAC are left out of the list. - The "Send to network device" window now shows which method is silencing the PC, under the checkbox.
- If the app closes unexpectedly, the mute and the app's output device are restored the next time it starts.
Unchanged
- Sending local/NAS tracks to network devices, and sound processing for playback, DSD upsampling, AP-1, FIR EQ,
headphone correction and spatial effects. - Your library, playlists, saved queues and settings.
