CastFi v0.10.5

고친 것 (v0.10.5)

새로 생긴 것 (v0.10.5)

English

Fixed (v0.10.5)

PCM upscaling (bug report)

  • The app froze and had to be force-closed during PCM upscaling. When no usable ASIO driver was available for the
output device (the DAC was off or unplugged, or only another DAC's ASIO driver was installed), CastFi should give up
the high rate and retry once at the original rate — but each retry picked the high rate again and repeated the same
failure endlessly. It now retries once at the original rate and, if that also fails, keeps playing on the same
device through regular (WASAPI) output. Turning upscaling on again or restarting output tries the high rate again.

New (v0.10.5)

Settings › Sharing with other devices

  • Lets your paired CastFi phones save this PC's music for offline listening. Downloading on the phone arrives with
the next CastFi Android update (0.4.9).
  • Allow downloads on the same network (LAN) — on by default. Downloads while the phone is on the same network,
    such as your home Wi-Fi.
  • Allow downloads from away from home — off by default. Allows downloading over the remote connection.
  • Files arrive exactly as stored (including DSF/DFF, no conversion). Interrupted downloads resume, and if the file on
the PC changed in the meantime the download starts over so nothing gets mixed.
  • Playback is not affected — these settings only control downloads. To stop a phone completely, unpair it.

Phone connection

  • Your phone finds the same track again even after a library rescan changes track numbers.

Unchanged

  • Sound processing for playback, DSD upsampling, AP-1, FIR EQ, headphone correction, spatial effects and sending to
    network devices.
  • How your phone plays this PC's music, at home or away.
  • Your library, playlists, saved queues and settings.
