v2.3.5 - 2026-09-06

Fixed

  • Persist appearance, language, and global skill settings independently of project sessions, restoring them on the project dashboard and synchronizing open Overleaf tabs without stale session saves overwriting newer preferences.
  • Preserve the disabled Preload project context setting across refreshes and projects, including migration of existing preferences and cancellation of pending automatic preloads.
  • Display provider settings and their confirmation dialogs in the browser's modal top layer so the Codex side panel cannot obscure their controls; keep theme changes and keyboard focus consistent while dialogs are open.
  • Limit provider activation to an open project, while keeping shared provider configuration available from the dashboard.
  • Remove unsupported current-section context hints and align provider disclosure and installer update guidance with the current project-selection and per-version update-authorization flows.

npm native host package

Install the managed extension and native host once to enable signed automatic stable updates:

npm exec --yes codex-overleaf-link@2.3.5 -- install-managed

The legacy native-only installer remains available for unmanaged extension directories:

npm exec --yes codex-overleaf-link@2.3.5 -- install-native

Run native diagnostics with the same pinned package:

Uninstall the native host with the same pinned package:
