v0.1.0

Native macOS (Apple Silicon) client for Proxmox Backup Server. The pbmac CLI is bundled inside the app — one download.

Install

Download ProxmoxBackup-0.1.0-macos-arm64.zip, unzip, and move Proxmox Backup.app to /Applications.
It is ad-hoc signed (not notarized), so on first launch right-click the app → Open (or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "Proxmox Backup.app").

Command line

The app menu has Install Command-Line Tool…, which symlinks the bundled pbmac onto your PATH. Or use the standalone pbmac-0.1.0-darwin-arm64.

Requires Apple Silicon, macOS 14+. Grant Full Disk Access to back up broad user data (Desktop/Documents/Photos).
