πŸŽ‰ What's New in v2.0.27 πŸŽ‰

πŸ’Έ Batch payments and clearer transaction details

Send to several recipients in one transaction, using the same editor as single payments. Each payment has its own address, amount and labels. The preview shows each recipient's final amount, and you can choose to deduct the fee from the first payment. Returning from the preview keeps your recipients and fee settings.

This release also fixes fiat-entered amounts being rejected for fractional satoshis and a crash when pasting a fixed-amount payment URI. Recipient labels and the preview layout are clearer.

A new resizable transaction viewer shows inputs and outputs from send previews, transaction details and individual CoinJoin details. Inspect amounts, fiat values, ownership, labels and known anonymity scores, and copy addresses or outpoints. Privacy mode hides the transaction data.

⚑ Fees below 1 sat/vB

Set transaction fee rates as low as 0.1 sat/vB when relay and mempool conditions allow it. Fee estimates and the send chart retain fractional precision, so low rates are displayed correctly.

Broadcasting also skips peers whose advertised minimum fee is higher than the transaction's fee rate.

πŸ”‘ Receive address preferences

Choose SegWit or Taproot as the default receive address type for each wallet. Generate and Enter follow the saved preference, and the dropdown still lets you generate either type directly. Existing wallets start with SegWit.

πŸ” CoinJoin, Payjoin and RPC checks

CoinJoin now checks participant counts, mining fees and registered wallet inputs before completing signing. If registered inputs are missing or other signing checks fail, the wallet withholds a signature for an input actually present in the transaction. If none of the wallet's inputs remain, it sends no signatures. Duplicate wallet inputs are rejected. Blame rounds are checked against the previous signed transaction, and only coins whose signatures were submitted are reused.

Payjoin supports Taproot sender inputs and change, respects the receiver's output-substitution policy, requires secure endpoints, and removes key-origin metadata from requests. Proposals that exceed the sender's advertised additional fee contribution are rejected, and the wallet falls back to the original transaction. Fee details reflect the final negotiated transaction.

If you enable JSON-RPC, configure a non-empty username and password before upgrading. Without them, the RPC server refuses to start while the wallet application continues running.

🌍 Translations and wallet settings

The interface is now available in Brazilian Portuguese and Russian. German, Spanish and French translations also include Bitcoin terminology and quantity-formatting corrections.

Secret Hunt is opt-in for new wallets. Existing wallets keep their saved setting.

An invalid Config.json is preserved, and startup stops with a message asking you to fix or rename it. A separate Config.Default.json provides a default-settings template.

πŸ› οΈ Reliability and reproducible builds

This release fixes a macOS crash when stopping CoinJoin and handles a missing Windows startup registry key when checking or changing startup settings.

The reproducible build guide explains how to reproduce portable release packages and verify signed Windows payloads. A shared macOS signing runner checks the local signing configuration and notarization access, with an updated guide for backing up credentials and recovering the release setup. CoinJoin, redirect and single-instance tests are more reliable, and CI avoids unnecessary downloads.
