Release list
v1.0.6
v1.0.5
New Features
-
WinRT MVVM Support
Added a host template viewmodel for WinRT and migrated the WinRT Blink example to an MVVM pattern. UI updates are now driven via a property observer, decoupling UI state from the host. -
Cooperative Scheduling Hook (
yield())
Introduced HALyield()to simulate RTOS-style cooperative scheduling on Arduino hosts.
Improvements
-
Runtime Loop & Dispatch
- Added host-threaded dispatch so callbacks run within the main loop.
- Refined stop/teardown flow for more predictable shutdown.
-
Scheduling & Build Hygiene
- Improved TaskScheduler integration.
- Unified compiler flags across the project.
-
Add-ons & Diagnostics
- Updated the Integer World add-on to the latest loop API.
- Generalized mock output and added an optional log task controlled by compiler flags.
Developer Experience
- Cleaner separation between UI and host state in WinRT samples via property observers.
- More consistent callback execution and responsiveness with
yield()and threaded dispatch.
v1.0.4
v1.0.3
New Features
-
Arduino-style
serialEvent()Support
The host now detects incoming serial data and automatically triggers aserialEvent()callback, aligning behavior more closely with standard Arduino sketches. -
UI Console Integration
Serial output can now be displayed in a live Windows/XAML console. A background polling timer fetches new TX data and appends it to a scrollable text view, with optional auto-scroll to keep the latest output visible.
Improvements
-
Refined Serial State Tracking
- Replaced the single
StateIdcounter with distinct TxId and RxId identifiers. - Provides clearer separation of transmit and receive events.
- Added
GetTxId()andGetRxId()accessors for external use.
- Replaced the single
-
Buffer Handling
- Introduced a dedicated
flushTx()method to explicitly clear transmit buffers. - Optimized buffer growth by reserving space ahead of time (
size * 2 + 64) to reduce reallocations.
- Introduced a dedicated
Developer Experience
- Cleaner event handling with explicit TX/RX counters.
- Easier integration of Arduino sketches that rely on
serialEvent(). - Real-time visibility of serial output directly in the Windows host UI.
