The first public beta of WinPool is here! Please feel free to download and use it—I welcome your feedback and any issues you might encounter.

  • Download WinPool-V0.63-win-x64.zip (do not download the "Source code" archive). Extract the entire contents and run WinPool.App.exe.

  • The package includes all necessary runtimes; there is no need to install .NET or PowerShell 7 separately.

  • I recommend starting by exploring the viewing, monitoring, and simulation/preview features. Actual editing operations are disabled by default; please back up your data and verify your targets before executing any changes.

  • This is a public beta for Windows x64 and is not yet considered a stable release.

  • The software is compatible with Windows 10 (22H2) and Windows 11 (24H2/25H2). However, as it has not been tested across all possible system and hardware configurations, the success of actual operations may depend on your specific Windows environment and device.

  • The program is unsigned, so Windows may display an "unknown publisher" warning. Please download the files from the Releases section of this repository and verify the checksums; there is no need to disable your system's security protections.

  • Please use the Issues section to report bugs, compatibility issues, or provide feedback on the interface, performance, or overall user experience. Including details such as your WinPool version, Windows version, relevant hardware, the steps taken, and any error messages is very helpful. Don't worry if you lack technical experience—I am happy to provide assistance!
