I sure have been going through some ideas when pondering how to do this new OS. First idea was Microspace, just 16-bit Goldspace. Then I tried gimmicks, Hotti, hot swapping floppy disks. Welp, I finally settled on something. I'm going back to protected mode.
Introducing Gnix, standing for Goldside543's Unix. You see, Goldspace sucked. So I'm gonna try again. This time, I have experience so I won't make stupid mistakes. At least, hopefully not. This time, I'm going to try to focus on what's necessary. I'm not gonna waste time on making the kernel interactive, I'm going to userland before I do that.
