Howdy Community - Welcome to GoobyDesk release v1.0.5

This release contains several new features and quality-of-life improvements across the GoobyDesk codebase. The most notable changes are the addition of the new Media Request module, expanded customer and employee record handling, and improved data normalization and display.

General Maintenance and Improvements

  • Multiple package bumps in requirements.txt
  • Refactored logging to be defined at the module level.
  • Various employee record UI updates.
  • Various customer record UI updates.

New Features

  • Implemented multiple queues. support, escalation, and billing.
  • Created an uninstaller.sh script.
  • New Media Request module for Home Labbers available at the suffix /media-request/.
  • Employee records now store additional details such as secondary street address, Minecraft/Discord usernames, certifications, skills, and richer contact/emergency contact preferences.
  • Customer records now support additional fields such as status_reason, account_tier, customer_type, and risk_level in customer records, and ensured country is also set in the nested address.
  • Implemented Assign to Me button.
  • Implemented Service ID export as csv.
