Node.js 24 is GA as a Cloud Run functions runtime and is the current Active LTS, but CI only covered 18, 20 and 22. - Add 24 to the unit and conformance test matrices. - Add a nodejs24 buildpack integration job. That runtime is provided by the google-24-full builder, so it uses a different builder image from the existing jobs. Verified locally that `npm test` passes on Node.js 24.13.0 with no source changes.
Follows up on adding Node.js 24 by covering Node.js 26 as well. Node.js 26 is available as a Cloud Run functions runtime in preview, and becomes Active LTS on 2026-10-28. - Add 26 to the unit and conformance test matrices. - Add a nodejs26 buildpack integration job. That runtime is provided by the same google-24-full builder as nodejs24. Verified locally that `npm test` passes on Node.js 26.8.1 with no source changes. In particular no mocha bump is needed here: this repository already depends on mocha 11, which pulls in yargs 17.
