SSMSx v0.3-beta.1 - Configurable new query templates

What's new

  • New query tabs now start from a configurable template, with every whitespace character preserved exactly.
  • Add one optional {{cursor}} marker to choose where the editor caret starts. The marker is removed before the SQL reaches the editor.
  • The default template opens with 30 empty lines. Generated SELECT and CREATE scripts are unchanged.
  • Invalid saved templates with more than one cursor marker safely fall back to the default.
