Companion terminal streaming

  • Increase the Mac host's outbound queue from 64 messages / 8 MiB to 4,096 messages / 32 MiB per connection, giving busy terminal sessions more room for bursts of output.
  • Drain queued messages without repeatedly shifting the whole queue.
  • Report the specific queue limit and pending totals when an overflow occurs, without logging terminal content.

Install this Mac update to receive the streaming change. It works with the existing companion build; no relay or mobile update is required for the queue increase.

  • Restore agent sessions, show notification history, and improve terminal tab names.
  • Harden agent recovery and reduce repeated workspace-state writes.
  • Preview sidebar reordering during drag.
  • Clarify relay setup and companion testing documentation.

Install or update

brew update
brew upgrade --cask gordonbeeming/tap/myterm

Quit and reopen MyTerm after updating. Alternatively, download the signed and notarized Apple silicon DMG below once the release build completes.
