Changes

  • Reworked HUD fix to maintain 3840x2160 HUD layer.
  • Fixed grey squares appearing on the map.
  • Fixed cropped movies.
  • Added framerate limit setting to override the "120 fps" option in-game.

Installation

  • Download the file marked FF7RebirthFix_2.3.zip from the "Assets" section below.
  • Extract the contents of the release zip in to the the game folder.
    (e.g. "steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH" for Steam).

Steam Deck/Linux Additional Instructions

🚩You do not need to do this if you are using Windows!

  • Open up the game properties in Steam and add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dsound=n,b" %command% to the launch options.
