New: Readability scanner (WCAG 3.1.5)

Equall now checks if your text content is too complex for your audience. The new readability scanner runs 6 formulas (Flesch-Kincaid, Coleman-Liau, ARI, Gunning Fog, SMOG, Dale-Chall) and reports when the median grade exceeds Grade 9 — the WCAG 3.1.5 (AAA) threshold for lower secondary education.

  • Scans HTML and Vue files
  • Skips files with < 30 words or non-English lang attribute
  • Issue includes full formula breakdown in the suggestion

Improved

  • equall --version now reads from package.json (was hardcoded to 0.1.0)
  • equall ignore src/Modal.tsx adds equall-ignore-file at top of file
  • equall ignore src/Modal.tsx (without :line) shows clear error instead of crashing
  • axe.configure() called once per scan instead of per-file
  • Code review cleanup: type-safe PourPrinciple, bare catch, removed redundant comments
  • Fixed eslint-jsx-a11y criteria count in README (17 → 16)

Tests

39 new tests: scoring formula (17), deduplication (9), addIgnore/addIgnoreFile (13). Total: 69.
