Envryn 0.2.0

Highlights

• No more AI. Local AI is gone entirely: no ~1 GB model download, no background worker process, no AI settings. If an earlier version downloaded the model, it is deleted on first launch to free the space. Envryn also no longer contains any HTTP client; the only network traffic it can make is sync with your own paired devices on your local network.
• Suggest name and Suggest type, rule-based. Both buttons now recognise more than 70 key formats (Stripe, OpenAI, GitHub, AWS, Slack, database URLs, private keys, JWTs, and more) plus common variable-name conventions. Results are instant and work offline. When a value isn't recognised, Envryn says Unknown and leaves your field alone instead of guessing. Pasting a full NAME=value line suggests NAME.
• Delete a project. Project pages now have a Delete button. It tells you how many secrets go with the project before removing them, and the deletion syncs to paired devices.
• Backups save where you choose. Backup and restore now use the system Save and Open dialogs on Windows and Android, so Downloads, a USB drive, or a cloud folder all work. This fixes the "can't back up, change the location" error. Restoring while the vault is unlocked now works too, and the previous vault file is kept aside with a timestamp.
• Phone-to-PC sync fixed. On PCs with WSL, Hyper-V, or VPN network adapters, the phone tried those virtual addresses first and timed out. It now tries the PC's address on your own network first and gives up on dead addresses within seconds.
• Automatic sync. With the new "Sync automatically" setting (on by default), paired devices that are both open and unlocked sync every 30 seconds, so changes show up without pressing Sync.
• Honest sync counts. The sync notification now says what was sent and what was received, instead of "0 secrets synced" after a sync that pushed changes.
• Mobile fixes. The rename and delete project buttons and the secret row actions are now always visible on touch screens, where there is no hover to reveal them.

The Windows packages are not code-signed yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show a warning. Check the download against SHA256SUMS.txt before installing.

The Android APK is signed with the same Envryn release key as earlier signed builds, so it installs as an update over them. You will need to allow installs from your browser or file manager the first time. Android remains in beta.

• APK contents checked before signing (version 0.2.0 / 2000, minimum API 29, native libraries for all four ABIs). The signature verifies with apksigner.
