The ROS Wiki is the best source for learning ROS, from getting it installed to learning concepts and implementing examples. See the table of contents here:

The Robot Ignite Academy is an excellent place to learn the basics of ROS. It will launch a remote instance of Ubuntu with ROS installed and give you a command line, text editor, and Gazebo simulation Window all within the browser Window. It contains many paid tutorials, however a couple, "Python 3 for Robotics" and "Linux for Robotics" are free.

The book Introduction to Autonomous Mobile Robots by Scaramuzza, Davide, Siegwart, Roland is an excellent resource. It is one of the recommended books for MTRE 3710 Mechatronics Fundamentals.
