I have been using Graphify within my organization and encouraging others to adopt it as well. However, one challenge I am observing is that, for many common queries, Claude Code alone seems to provide similar results with the same or even lower token consumption compared to using Graphify.
Because of this, it has been difficult to convince others about the additional value Graphify brings. The common feedback I hear is:
“Claude Code already works well enough — why do we need Graphify on top of it?”
Another observation is around token usage. When Claude Code invokes the Graphify Query CLI multiple times (for example, 3–4 invocations), each query can consume around ~2K tokens. This quickly adds up to 8K+ tokens for a single workflow. In comparison, similar queries using Claude Code with grep/find/ripgrep often complete with much lower token usage.
