Cthulhu's Setup Scripts

A collection of Linux setup scripts that will install my favourite programs and other tools

Available for:

  1. Red Hat-based (RHEL, Fedora, CentOS)
  2. Debain-based (Ubuntu, Mint, Pop!-OS)
  3. Arch-based (Arch, Manjaro, EndeavourOS)
  4. Gentoo
  5. NixOS
  6. openSUSE

Please note: I primarily use Debain and Red Hat-based distros. Any issues with the others raise an issue and I'll take a look

To Install:

  1. Download '[INSERT OS HERE]setup.sh'
  2. Make the script executable by running 'chmod +x [INSERT OS HERE]setup.sh' in the terminal.
  3. Run the script with ./[INSERT OS HERE]setup.sh in the terminal

  1. Git
  2. Fastfecth
  3. Lolcat
  4. Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird
  5. Wine
  6. ani-cli (Watch anime from the terminal)
  7. Konsole
  8. Kate (KDE Advanced Text Editor)
  9. Audacity
  10. speedtest-cli (Run a speedtest in the terminal)
  11. Time Shift
  12. Steam
  13. Lutris
  14. VLC Media Player
  15. Kdenlive
  16. qbittorrent
  17. nano
  18. Libre Office
  19. Gimp

Ani-cli dependencies

  1. grep
  2. sed
  3. curl
  4. mpv - Video Player
  5. aria2c - Download manager
  6. yt-dlp - m3u8 Downloader
  7. ffmpeg - m3u8 Downloader (fallback)
