Navigation, presentation, and lifecycle improvements for flyout and tabbed MAUI applications.

Changes

• Add asynchronous initial-root selection, customizable startup/failure content, and coordinated application-owned root transitions.
• Improve toolbar stability, inherited appearance and geometry, custom content, icon sizing, and compact layouts.
• Improve flyout selection, input/focus handling, retained navigation, and guarded dismissal; add the optional flyout-navigation capability.
• Keep runtime loading under application control, with typed loading templates, inherited backdrops, and overlapping loading scopes. Ordinary navigation does not start a loader.
• Add deferred typed popup requests for lifecycle callbacks and navigation guards, with origin validation, optional deduplication, cancellation outcomes, and reliable cleanup.
• Extend shared lifecycle and UI fixes to tabbed navigation; add tab-bar padding, item spacing, and scrollbar configuration for all four edges.

Upgrade

Use MVVMCompass.Maui version 1.1.0; it depends on MVVMCompass.Core version 1.1.0. Update any direct Core reference to the same version.

Existing INavigationService implementations remain compatible. Navigation wrappers that use CloseFlyout or RequestPopup must forward IFlyoutNavigationService or IDeferredPopupNavigationService, respectively.

Validation

Release packages are built from release commit 797ad79780d1443db200de6ba4f688968f4f1889. Package and symbol checksums are included in manifest.json.

• 712 managed tests passed, with no failures or skips.
• 1,292 Android Release and 1,295 iOS simulator checks passed against these exact packages. Both mobile suites have the expected Windows-only multiwindow skip.
• Package consumers, Core NativeAOT execution, package/symbol integrity, and Source Link retrieval passed.

Full MAUI NativeAOT retains the existing CommunityToolkit.Maui IL2062 limitation; the passing NativeAOT check covers Core.
