  • 💥 Private module structure modernized (should not alter documented interface, may break undocumented usage)
    • ♻️ __init__ now does not contain definitions, only public imports
    • ♻️ ns/namespace definitions in core module
    • ♻️ yaml loader and dumper in serialization
    • ♻️ Py2 compatibility utilities in compat
    • ♻️ command line code into cli package
  • 💥 YAML .inf and .nan properly loaded as Decimal Infinite and NaN consistently with other YAML floats.
    May break if you relied in them to be Python float NaN and inf.
  • 💥 load and dump parameter renamed filename -> source/target as they could be open files or Path.
    Calls using keyword arguments should be updated.
  • 🐛 pytest assert implementation in a different package to ensure pytest assert rewrite
  • 🧹 Removed compatibility with old Python versions (<2.7) unable to use libpath or libpath2
  • ✅ Better serialization test coverage
  • 🔧 Recovered Py2 CI
  • 🎨 Global code style changed to standard black
