Use Case: Governance Policy Optimization

Demerzel governance ML: Karnaugh maps for policy simplification, Poincare hierarchy for article taxonomy, violation pattern detection, confidence calibration.

Pipelines

1. Policy Simplification (Karnaugh Maps)

Multi-variable tetravalent truth tables minimized to prime implicants. "When does Demerzel escalate?" → minimal rule set.

2. Belief State Management

BeliefState tracks propositions with supporting/contradicting evidence. Resolves to Proceed, DoNotProceed, GatherEvidence, or Escalate.

3. Extended Logic Operations

implies(), xor(), equiv() for complex policy evaluation. "If risky AND untested → Escalate."

4. Article Hierarchy (Poincare Embeddings)

Learn hierarchical structure of governance articles. Zeroth Law → Articles → Sub-rules. Root detection, depth ranking, parent inference.

5. Violation Pattern Detection

ViolationPatternAnalyzer identifies systemic vs one-off violations across repos.

6. Confidence Calibration

ML feedback loop: historical predictions → calibration analysis → threshold adjustment.

The Governance Feedback Loop

Constitution → Agent Actions → Monitoring → ix ML Analysis → Recommendations → Human Review → Updates
