Release list
Alisio 0.4.4
A patch release with two fixes.
Fixed
- Automatic compaction now also triggers at 85 % of
limits.maxContextChars, so a long conversation with a
large-window model is compacted before the run fails instead of stopping with "Context budget
exceeded" until you ran/compactyourself. A last-chance compaction runs once before a run fails,
and the final error now says whether compaction ran, was skipped, failed or is disabled. - The web shows "Compacting context…" during a manual
/compactor an automatic one, and blocks
sending (keeping your draft) until it finishes.
Alisio 0.4.3
Added
- When you run the setup command of a decision provider plugin and it asks to become the decision
provider, the question now starts on "Yes (recommended)". The web question panel also starts a
single-choice question on its recommended option, as the terminal already did.
Fixed
- Smart Dashboard now understands Spanish net and gross phrasing: asking for "ventas netas" or
"ingresos netos" charts the net sales column instead of falling back to gross sales.
Alisio 0.4.2
Added
- A decision provider plugin can now ask Alisio to activate it with the optional
api.decisions.activate(providerId). You confirm once and Alisio savesdecisions.providerin your
global configuration and applies it right away, so there is no file to edit by hand. It never
replaces a provider you already chose, does nothing without an interactive session, and installing a
plugin still never activates it by itself.
Alisio 0.4.1
A patch release with one fix.
Fixed
alisio installno longer dead-ends when plugins you already have installed require an older
@alisio/sdkthan the new plugin needs: it now explains the conflict and the next command, and
alisio install --updatewithout a package refreshes all installed plugins in one npm call.
Alisio 0.4.0
A minor release: while Alisio is 0.x it may include breaking changes. Plugins that declare
@alisio/sdk as a ^0.3.0 peer must update the range (or declare ^0.3.0 || ^0.4.0).
Added
- Smart Dashboard: ask for a dashboard of a dataset and
dashboard_generatebuilds it from ready-made
components (KPIs, trend, ranking, composition, correlation, table) with no generated code. The
numbers come from read-only queries on the dataset, the result is validated before it is drawn,
and asking again with another goal regenerates it. It follows the columns your request names. - An optional decision provider can refine the dashboard's purpose; without one the rules decide.
- The
analysis.smartDashboardsetting (on by default) turns the tool and its guidance off. - Live progress for running tools in the terminal and in the collapsed web transcript row.
Improved
- Dashboard KPIs use compact numbers (the full value is kept for tooltips and screen readers) and
readable column names.
Fixed
alisio run "/plugin.id:name"runs the plugin command instead of sending it to the model, and the
web command palette lists plugin commands without typing a prefix.- Horizontal bar charts show the tooltip of the hovered row, in Python and Smart Dashboard dashboards.
Alisio 0.3.0
A minor release: while Alisio is 0.x it may include breaking changes. Plugins that declare
@alisio/sdk as a ^0.2.0 peer must update the range (or declare ^0.2.0 || ^0.3.0).
Added
- Decision Intelligence: an optional provider contract that lets a plugin answer small, closed
decisions (pick an option, yes/no, a level) without a full model generation. Alisio works the
same without a provider; installing a provider plugin does not activate it. /decisions(terminal and web) shows whether decisions are enabled, the active provider, its
health and the session metrics./statsgains a Decision Intelligence section once a decision
has run.- New settings: the
decisionsblock (enabled,provider,timeoutMs,minConfidence,
telemetry), plugin options inpluginOverrides.<id>.optionsand
pluginHooks.disposeTimeoutMs.
Improved
- Plugins are shut down in parallel, each with its own time limit, so one slow plugin no longer
delays the others. alisio runnow shuts plugins down cleanly on SIGTERM and SIGHUP, not only on Ctrl+C.
Alisio 0.2.1
Patch release.
Fixed
- A run no longer stops with "reached its 600 s limit" while you read a plan or answer a question. The run time limit (
limits.timeoutMs) now counts only active time: the time the agent waits for you (the plan review, a question, a tool approval) is not counted. A model or tool that really stalls still hits the limit. The same applies to thegoal.maxMinutescap of a session goal. - A run that ended or was stopped during a plan review no longer leaves the next message failing with an "Uncertain tool outcome" error.
- In the web, a plan review or a question can wait up to 60 minutes for your answer (tool approvals still expire after 10 minutes).
- The Settings label of
limits.timeoutMssaid "Provider request timeout"; it now says it is the run time limit.
Upgrade
npm i -g @alisio/alisio-code@0.2.1
alisio --versionFull changes: see CHANGELOG.md.
Alisio 0.2.0
A minor release. While Alisio is 0.x it may include breaking changes: plugins that declare @alisio/sdk as a ^0.1.0 peer need ^0.2.0 (or ^0.1.0 || ^0.2.0 to support both).
Added
- Plan diagrams: the plan agent can attach small Mermaid diagrams to the plan it proposes.
- A plan viewer in the web UI (sections, themed diagrams, ZIP download); the terminal shows each diagram's title, explanation and source.
- New settings
plan.diagramsandplan.maxDiagrams, in the config file, Settings (web) and/settings(terminal). - Dashboard charts for Python analysis:
alisio_runtime.chartswith an embedded Chart.js (MIT), working offline.
Improved
- Charts adapt to their card, follow light/dark, and include value labels, tooltips and a data table.
- Rewritten pure-SVG helpers that scale with their container.
- Clearer
python_runguidance for charts and dashboards.
Fixed
- Wrong or broken pie slices (including a single 100% slice) and fixed-size bar charts in generated dashboards.
- Hand-drawn SVG pies, fixed-size SVG charts and remote scripts now produce a warning in the
python_runresult.

@alisio/sdk, @alisio/core, @alisio/server, @alisio/alisio-code, @alisio/plugin-memory, @alisio/plugin-subagents, @alisio/plugin-openai-compatible.

Alisio 0.1.1
Patch release.
Fixed
- The web UI no longer scrolls the page and leaves a blank gap under the interface while a reply is streaming. The app always fills the window and only its inner panels scroll.
- The Alisio version is now shown in the web UI, in Settings → About and discreetly at the bottom of the sidebar.

npm i -g @alisio/alisio-code@0.1.1
alisio --versionFull changes: see CHANGELOG.md.
Alisio 0.1.0
Alisio 0.1.0 is the first stable release. Until 1.0.0 the usual 0.x semver rules apply: fixes ship as 0.1.x and a new minor (0.2.0) may include breaking changes. Plugins should declare @alisio/sdk as a peer ^0.1.0.

.agents/agents, switched with/agent:<id>or Shift+Tab. Plan mode with plan review. - Permission modes (ask, auto, full access) with
/permission. - Python analysis with downloadable artifacts and an artifact panel; CSV, TSV and XLSX datasets with a table viewer.
