Installation

Hakamiq CHD Tool is distributed as a Windows x64 desktop application.

Requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11
• x64 system
• Local storage with enough free space for source files and CHD output
• Permission to read the source folder and write to the output folder

Install

1. Download the latest release package.
2. Extract the package to a normal local folder.
3. Run HakamiqChdTool.App.exe.

Do not run the application directly from a compressed ZIP archive.

Recommended location

Use a normal folder such as:

C:\Tools\HakamiqChdTool

Avoid restricted locations such as:

C:\Program Files
C:\Windows

First run

On first launch, review the output folder, conversion options, and queue behavior before starting a large batch.

Notes

Hakamiq CHD Tool works locally. It does not require cloud conversion or server-side processing.
