Start in five minutes
git clone --branch v0.2.0 --depth 1 https://github.com/HALTSEAL/payment-control-lab.git
cd payment-control-lab
python lab.py demoUse python3 on macOS/Linux or py on Windows if needed. Open out/demo/report.html for the diagnostic detail or out/demo/owner-summary.html for the workflow-owner brief. No account or installation is needed to run the checkout.
To compare the included teaching functions:
python lab.py compare-policy examples.route_retry_policy:decide examples.fixture_policy:decide --out out/payment-changeConnect your own trusted, side-effect-free decision function using the adapter and CI guide. Start with advisory mode; agree the contract and review owner before gating software changes.
Install and verify
Download all four attached assets to one directory. From the trusted checkout, verify that directory against this Release record and run the fresh-install check:
python tools/verify_release.py /path/to/downloaded-assets --expected-manifest-sha256 6d9950b4d8ee1674f624751090aad9f4b0dea68b3355f74ebb3856a2d5d3edcb --installFor an offline installation of the verified wheel:
python -m pip install --no-index /path/to/haltseal_payment_control_lab-0.2.0-py3-none-any.whl
payment-control-lab demoThe reviewed source ZIP contains 61 diagnostic and licensing files. Public CI and release tooling are included in the 70-file repository, outside that ZIP. GitHub's automatic tag archives contain the full public repository and differ from the reviewed source ZIP.
The attached manifest binds the source ZIP and wheel to commit f6e8876bb19e21f70bd10c81d95128ea7af71616. The public final commit passes both hosted workflows. Independent fresh-install checks reproduce all 16 trace diagnoses, expected comparison exits 0 and 2, 110 source-ZIP regressions, report outputs, and exact runtime/license bytes in a fresh environment. Final-commit hosted runs are Lab quality and Release candidate. The public history contains only the reviewed README initialization and complete diagnostic snapshot; private development history remains separate.

Scope
This is an initial diagnostic prerelease. It does not execute, block, sign or authorize payments, authenticate provider evidence, or establish production protection. Teaching policies are not deployable payment controls. Reports use operator-supplied assertions; synthetic results are not an external audit. No commercial execution API or SDK is released here, and the package is not published to PyPI.
Custom decision code runs as trusted local Python and is not sandboxed. Use synthetic contexts, mocked dependencies and no production credentials. CLI reports stay local; the optional CI template uploads reports to GitHub under its explicit retention settings.
Use the free diagnostics independently. For help evaluating one actual workflow, discuss a scoped paid assessment. Scope, fees and deliverables are agreed before paid work.
