Silo v0.3.0
What's new in 0.3.0
Collections: share a mod set as a link. From Multiplayer sync, Share as a link publishes your set to your own GitHub, either as a secret gist for private or group sharing (unlisted, not password-protected) or as a public, forkable repo with a generated README. You get a URL. No mod files are uploaded, only the list, with each mod pinned to a version and a content hash. (#61)
- Anyone you send it to can paste the link (gist or
github.com/owner/repo) into Open a shared link to preview what they already have, what's a different version, what Silo can install, and what they'll need from ModHub. Dependency gaps and mod conflicts are flagged. - Importing downloads the installable mods, verifies each against the shared build, and saves the set as a loadout.
- Sharing needs a one-time Enable collection sharing (the GitHub
gistpermission) in Settings.
Library health flags foreign files. If a file in the flat mods/ root sits at a name Silo manages but isn't the projection Silo created, Library health now surfaces it. Silo still never touches it. (#34)
Fixed
- Activating an archived mod now works even if Silo's database drifted from disk. Silo reconciles its manifest from
archive/on every scan. (#75) - Dev mods symlinked into your mods folder now show up in the Library. (#76)
- A savegame created while playing now appears on Rescan instead of only after restarting Silo. (#77)
