Harden E2E dependencies and checkout docs

Summary

• update Vitest and transitive test tooling to versions with a clean npm audit
• refresh local file-dependency metadata for browser-client 0.1.2 and canonicalization 0.2.2
• correct the public-repository status
• add exact clone commands for every required sibling checkout
