TransGen by Third Wish Software
A freeware utility that converts 24-bit ".tga" images into 32-bit ".tga" images. It does so by creating an alpha transparency layer out of pixels with RGB color values of 255, 255, 255.
Tip: if you need to keep white-colored areas from becoming transparent, paint them with a slightly off-white color (i.e., with an RGB value of 254, 255, 255).
