Reference/citation audit for 50 pages.

  • one ## References section per page, at the end
  • every entry numbered - [N] [Title](url)
  • linked N(#references) citations on the content each reference sources
  • unused references removed and renumbered; original research credited over secondary reporting

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Audits the '## References' of these pages: merges duplicated reference
sections into one, numbers every entry, adds the linked
N(#references) citations to the content each reference is the
source of, drops unused references and credits the original research.

Resolve reference-audit conflicts: keep the deeper audit where bodies are
identical, keep master where it carries newer content.

Each superscript points at the existing line the reference documents.
The page contained three overlapping copies of its section list (one of them
glued onto a ). Keep the single complete copy; no content is lost.
Both sides renumbered the References blocks of 8 shared pages, so git's
textual auto-merge left citations pointing at the wrong sources (e.g.
ret2esp-ret2reg cited 6 for florianhofhammer's ret2eax.c, which is [7]
under master's numbering, leaving [7] uncited).

Resolved by taking master's version of all 8, then re-adding, without
renumbering, the three content sources master genuinely lacked:
  ret2dlresolve [7] pwntools ret2dlresolve documentation
  srop-.../README [8] ir0nstone - Using SROP
anti-forensic-techniques [5] Hiding Your .NET - ETW (XPN)
Skipped github.com/mitre/AADAPT: that repo is the framework being described,
not a source for the claim, and master already cites Bishop Fox for it.

Verified: no reference number means a different source than on master, and no
dangling citations were introduced.
