A lightweight, bloat-free alternative to Acer PredatorSense for Acer Predator & Nitro gaming laptops.
Direct ACPI WMI hardware control, ~40 MB RAM (vs 1.5 GB+), and zero background bloat services.

🗑️ Custom 4-Zone RGB Preset Deletion

  • WinForms UI Integration:
    • Added a dedicated Delete button directly beside Save and + New in the SAVED 4-ZONE RGB PROFILES row.
    • Prompts with a native confirmation dialog ("Are you sure you want to delete the RGB profile '[Name]'?") before deleting.
    • Automatically falls back and applies the first remaining profile upon deletion so the keyboard LEDs never glitch.
    • Automatically disabled when only 1 profile remains (ensuring the user always retains at least one valid preset).
  • Jelli Companion UI Integration:
    • Added full bridge support for rgb.profile.delete.
    • Safe 2-Step In-App Confirmation: Clicking Delete Profile turns into a highlighted Confirm Delete? button with a cancel ✕ button.
    • Includes a 4-second auto-revert timer to prevent accidental taps while gaming.
  • Clean Registry Sync:
    • Deleting an active preset automatically updates the Windows Registry ActiveRgbProfile key to the first remaining valid preset so stale profile names are never retained.

🚀 Installation & Setup

  1. Download: Download PredatorControl-standalone.exe from the Assets section below.
  2. Run as Administrator: Double-click and accept the UAC prompt (required for ACPI WMI and Embedded Controller hardware communication).
  3. Auto-Start: Toggle "Start with Windows" in settings to launch silently into the system tray on boot.
