v1.0.0
The first release of powerview_connect: an async client for Hunter Douglas / Luxaflex PowerView Gen 3 gateways, over their local HTTP API and shade event stream. aiohttp is its only dependency.
Features
- The home - gateways, rooms, shades with their positions, and scenes - from
GET /home, and one shade's live positions while it moves. - Single-rail moves. Only the rails given are sent; a shade keeps the others.
- Stop, scene activation and jog, the gateway's way of showing which shade is which.
- The shade event stream: when a move starts, with its target and the gateway's estimate of its time, and when it stops, with the final positions.
- A motion tracker that turns the events into which shades are moving and when to read them, without I/O of its own.
- A shade's signal strength, battery status and whether it is hard-wired.
- A read-only client, which refuses every command before it reaches the gateway.
- A simulated gateway in
powerview_connect.testing, an HTTP server on 127.0.0.1 that behaves as a real gateway was measured to, for tests.
